Inter Milan midfielder Nicola Barella is reportedly a target for Liverpool, with the Reds said to be eyeing a move for the Italian international this summer.
Barella is unlikely to be available on the cheap, with it being claimed that he may cost as much as €90m (£77m), but fans on Twitter are really hoping that speculation about the Merseyside club’s interest is accurate:

It’s probably wise to be cautious about these Barella rumours. While Liverpool’s pursuit of Aurelien Tchouameni earlier this summer showed that the club are on the lookout for a midfielder, most trusted sources suggest that Jurgen Klopp’s side may wait another year before looking to strengthen their options in that area of the pitch.
Barella was also mentioned as a potential makeweight in Inter’s attempts to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, but it is unlikely that the Serie A club would be willing to sell one of their best players.
