‘I’m On My Knees’ ‘Future 100M Player’ Fans Pleading For Liverpool To Make Bid For French Teenage Sensation After Romano Update

It is an “open race” to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga before the transfer window closes, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist claims the Frenchman is available for around €35m (£30m) with Rennes keen to prevent the teenager from leaving on a free transfer next year:

Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are the teams who have been mentioned as potential destinations for Camavinga but Liverpool fans on Twitter are really hoping the Reds make a move for him too:

Camavinga could be an excellent replacement for Geoginio Wijnaldum but, while a move looks like a great one on paper, there are other factors that make the deal unlikely.

The teenager is reportedly keen on staying in France or moving to Spain so persuading him to make the switch to Merseyside would be difficult. On top of that, it’s hard to see how Liverpool could compete in terms of the wages they could offer compared to other teams.
