“I’m Open To Anything” 34M Rated Bundesliga Star Offers Encouragement To Liverpool As He Addresses Future

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus says he would be willing to leave Germany if the right opportunity presents itself.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old in recent days, and when asked to address speculation about his future, the German international said he was keeping every option on the table:

“I’m not committed to one club. The overall package [offer] must be right. I’m open to anything. I’m a person who likes to dare to do something. I could also imagine foreign countries very well. I don’t necessarily have to go to FC Bayern Munich.”

Neuhaus reportedly had a €40m (£34m) buyout fee, but it is believed that clause has now expired so Gladbach could demand any figure they like for the midfielder.

There could be pressure from other Premier League teams as well, with Manchester City having been long-term admirers of the player.

It will be hoped, however, that Neuhaus would be tempted to work under the management of Jurgen Klopp. With the player seemingly willing to move abroad, it seems that the Reds do have a good chance of making a deal happen.

The Merseyside club will be keen to strengthen their options in the middle of the park, with Georginio Wijnaldum having now confirmed he will leave Anfield for Paris Saint-Germain.
