Liverpool winger Mo Salah was non-committal with his response when asked about his future. The Egyptian international says he is very much focused on the here and now:
“I just want to enjoy today and enjoy the moment! No-one knows the future and what will happen. Let’s see what will happen.”
“But at the moment we win the Champions League, we win the Premier League, I’m happy. Let’s see what will happen in the future, but I’m very happy to win and achieve those trophies.”
Supporters on Twitter are slightly concerned by the tone of the comments, with some worried it means the 28-year-old may well look to move on to another club:
In other words…Hala Madrid ??

No one can afford this summer. I think Salah will be gone next summer

Now that he has won everything with us & also the fact that his best teammate has left the club, i don't think he has any motivation left in himself to remain with us. Hopefully that happens in time so that we could buy his ideal replacement..

If we got one more good year out of him I’d be happy.. can’t help but think he wants one more big move before he ages.. sancho in next summer to replace him if it happens..

His not going anywhere because if he had every intention on leaving he would’ve told klopp earlier enough so we could’ve got Werner as his replacement so his not going anywhere!

It’s probably best not to read too much into the comments, with Salah likely still basking in Liverpool’s Premier League title triumph. It is hardly the time to reflect on your future plans.
Of course, there have been links to Real Madrid in the past, but as long as he is winning things at Anfield, it would be a surprise if he considered leaving.
Real president Florentino Perez has even stated that the La Liga side won’t be making any big signings this summer, due to the impact of the global health crisis, so you can likely rule out Salah leaving for the Bernabeu anytime soon.
