Real Madrid have contacted Liverpool forward Sadio Mane’s representative about a possible move to Spain, according to reports in the French media.
It is even suggested that Zinedine Zidane himself has talked to the Senegalese international about a switch to the Bernabeu with Real’s manager keen on the 27-year-old replacing Gareth Bale.
Supporters on Twitter are highly sceptical about the report and believe Mane is happy at Anfield:
if they want to sign right now, it will be £280m

Sure, they can have Mane.

It was not long ago that Mane expressed his desire to stay at the Reds “forever” while he has also revealed his delight in recent days about manager Jurgen Klopp signing a new deal.
Liverpool are also in a very strong position in terms of Mane’s contract. The forward signed a new deal back in November 2018 keeping him at the club until June 2023.
With the Merseyside club currently riding high in the league, and competing for honours on all fronts, the Senegalese is unlikely to be interested in a move away from the club.
