James Pearce Claims £100m Rated Duo Are Being Tracked By Liverpool

Liverpool are keeping tabs on both Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz, according to The Athletic journalist James Pearce.

However, it appears the likelihood of the club signing both players this summer is very low with Pearce claiming that the pair have a combined worth above £100m.

In fact, the reporter’s estimate is on the conservative side. Reports in Germany suggest that Dortmund would demand around £120m for Sancho while Leverkusen are said to value Havertz at around the €100m (£89m) mark.

With that being the case, it would likely be one or the other. On this season’s form, you would have to go for Sancho with the 19-year-old having scored 17 goals and contributed 19 assists in 35 appearances.

In contrast, Havertz has scored ten in all competitions and provided eight assists, but he managed just two league goals before a purple patch which started at the end of January.
