John Terry Singles Out Liverpool Star For Praise After Seeing What He Did During The Merseyside Derby

Former Chelsea and England captain John Terry has once again praised Liverpool winger Luis Diaz after his cameo display against Everton yesterday evening.

Terry seemed to be particularly impressed by Diaz’s ability to control a diagonal pass, videoing the clip on his TV before taking to Twitter to laud the Colombian’s ability:

It isn’t the first time that Terry has expressed his admiration for Diaz. After the Reds’ win versus West Ham back in March, he singled out the 25-year-old for praise after another impressive performance.

From the looks of things, Liverpool have pulled off yet another masterstroke in the transfer market, with Diaz likely to cost around £50m when add-ons are included.

After coming on in the Merseyside derby, the forward made a big difference, helping to stretch the game on the left wing. He played a pivotal role in the second goal, with his acrobatic cross/shot finding its way to Divock Origi who headed in from close range.
