Jota And Thiago To Start, Salah And Keita On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Arsenal

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have some tough selection decisions to make ahead of the Reds’ game against Arsenal tomorrow evening.

Alisson will almost certainly start in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson expected to be picked in the two fullback positions.

Ibrahima Konate is back in contention after injury but Klopp could keep faith with Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk as the centre-back partnership.

In midfield, Thiago may return to the starting lineup in order to give Liverpool a measure of control, with the Gunners expected to press high and turn the screw when the Reds are in possession.

The Spaniard could be partnered by captain Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, with Naby Keita (who started against Brighton at the weekend) dropping to the bench.

Klopp will be sweating over the fitness of Mo Salah, but he has a number of other forward options if the Egyptian is not deemed fit enough to start. Diogo Jota could come into the lineup, with Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane playing either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Arsenal:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago, Mane, Jota, Diaz
