Jota To Keep His Place, Firmino On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Arsenal

Liverpool know they need the three points when they take on Arsenal tomorrow if they are going to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

Manager Jurgen Klopp could well keep with the same lineup that won 1-0 against Wolves before the international break. Ozan Kabak and Nat Phillips have formed a decent centre-back partnership ahead of Alisson, so the pair could keep their places, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Roberson as the fullbacks.

In midfield, Fabinho has been excelling back in his natural position, and the Brazilian is expected to line up alongside Thiago Alcantara and Georginio Wijnaldum, with captain Jordan Henderson still sidelined with injury.

Up front, the return of Roberto Firmino to fitness after a knee injury will give Klopp a selection dilemma. However, Diogo Jota’s excellent form should see him be given the nod ahead of his Brazilian teammate. Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are likely to play either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Arsenal:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Phillips, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Jota, Mane
