Journalist Claims Declan Rice ‘Is Just As Likely’ To Sign For Liverpool As City, United Or Chelsea Next Summer

Liverpool are interested in signing West Ham midfielder Declan Rice next summer, according to 90min.com‘s Graeme Bailey.

The journalist, who was the first to confirm Joe Willock’s move from Arsenal to Newcastle, claims that the midfielder “is just as likely” to move to Anfield, as he is to sign for the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea:

Considering the Hammers value Rice close to £100m, it would be a shock if the Reds were to make a move for the England international at the end of the season.

The Merseyside club are expected to overhaul their squad next year but, after Fabinho signed a new long-term contract, Rice would not be a priority target, especially at his current asking price.

Bailey reports that Rice won’t move clubs before the summer, with the 22-year-old concentrating on his performances for West Ham, but it seems the player will have a lot of options if he does decide to leave the London Stadium.
