Liverpool remain in contention to sign Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun, according to former Guardian and Telegraph journalist Nik Postinger.
The Reds have been snapping up a number of young players in recent days and it appears that they also still have an eye on the Gunners teenager:
#LFC suddenly making swift moves for young talent to stock the academy. Birmingham teen Calum Scanlon signed. They’ve reportedly now pipped #MUFC to Celta Vigo youngster Stefan Bajcetic, and remain in the frame for #AFC‘s Folarin Balogun.

Balogun was first linked with a move to Anfield back in August, when it was reported that Arsenal were demanding £8m for the 19-year-old, but his contract will expire in June and he could be available for a lot less.
If the forward opts to leave the Emirates, Liverpool would still have to pay compensation due to his age, and it may even go to a tribunal considering how highly regarded the player is.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta handed Balogun his senior debut in the Europa League game against Dundalk back in October. He has subsequently gone on to score two goals in his first five appearances for the London club.
