34M Rated Goal Machine Could Be Tempted By Liverpool Switch If Klopp Makes Personal Plea

Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi would seriously consider moving to Liverpool if he receives a call from manager Jurgen Klopp, according to reports in the German media.

A whole host of teams are thought to be pursuing the 19-year-old, including Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City.

Dortmund are reportedly the favourites to land Adeyemi but it appears he could be tempted to make the switch to Anfield if Klopp does make a personal intervention.

The main issue is believed to be game time. The teenager does not believe he would be a regular starter for clubs like Liverpool and Bayern, leading him to favour Dortmund.

Adeyemi has scored 15 goals in 22 appearances for Salzburg this season, and he would be a great addition for the Reds, who will be without Mo Salah and Sadio Mane for a number of games in January and February due to the African Cup of Nations. The German is believed to be valued at around €40m (£34m) so we shall see which team he moves to when the transfer window opens.
