Karim Adeyemi Speaks Out On His Future Amid Links With Premier League Clubs

Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi has played down speculation that he is on the verge of agreeing a deal to leave the Austrian club.

Reports in Germany have suggested that the 19-year-old is expected to join Borussia Dortmund, but the forward says he is concentrating on his performances for Salzburg this season:

“As is so often the case, nothing is decided yet and, as I have said, I’ll also be at Salzburg next year, and that’s where my focus is on. As I have said, I have no tendency. My mind is here at Salzburg and I’m looking forward to the Champions League with Salzburg. We want to give our all there.”

Adeyemi has been heavily linked with Liverpool, and other Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City, have also reportedly taken a look at the teenager.

The German international was in excellent form at the weekend, scoring a hat-trick in Salzburg’s 5-0 win over WSG Tirol. Adeyemi’s goal total for the season is now up to 18 in all competitions, with 14 of those coming in just 17 league appearances.

Despite the forward stating that he is not focused on his potential exit, it seems inevitable that he will move to a bigger league in the not too distant future.
