Keita And Milner To Start, Henderson And Wijnaldum To Drop Out: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester

Liverpool will again be without Joel Matip for today’s game against Leicester. Manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the 28-year-old is back in training but is not ready to return to action.

That means the Reds will likely continue with the same defence that conceded three against Red Bull Salzburg midweek. The only change could be in goal with Alisson Becker now in full training after recovering from a calf problem.

There will be no rush to get the Brazilian back into the side, though, following Adrian’s assured displays as understudy over the last six weeks, and the 32-year-old may keep his place this afternoon.

The midfield was stretched all over the place versus Salzburg and it’s fair to say that the likes of Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum looked tired in the second half.

Naby Keita has been waiting for a start in a league game and Klopp may give him his chance today to show what he can do. Milner could also come into the side.

With it being the last game before the international break, there will be no need to rest the front three, so the deadly trio of Mane, Firmino and Salah should all start.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester:

Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Fabinho, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane
