Keita In, Wijnaldum Drops To The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Take On Wolves

After a much-improved display against RB Leipzig, manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to make many changes to his starting line up when they face Wolves tomorrow night.

Especially with a five-day gap between games, Klopp could opt to start the same team which created a whole host of chances in the 2-0 win on Wednesday evening in Budapest.

Alisson will start in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson in the two fullback roles. Nat Phillips and Ozan Kabak both looked solid against Leipzig and the centre-back pairing will likely be given another runout tomorrow.

Klopp may feel he needs more creativity, with Wolves expected to sit deep and play on the counter-attack. That could see Naby Keita come into the side, with Georginio Wijnaldum making way. Fabinho and Thiago will make up the rest of the midfield.

Doubts over Robert Firmino‘s fitness suggest that Klopp may go with the same front three that started versus Leipzig. That would mean Diogo Jota through the middle with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Wolves:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson, Keita, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Jota, Mane
