Keita, Van Djik And Fabinho To Start, Thiago On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Leicester

With Liverpool’s game against Leeds having to be called off at the weekend, it has resulted in the Reds playing a double-header against Leicester, after the Carabao Cup tie midweek.

However, the Foxes travelled to the Etihad for their last game just 48 hours ago, so there is no doubting who will be the fresher of the two teams when they face each other at the King Power tonight.

In terms of the team, Alisson is expected to start in goal, with the returning Virgil van Dijk coming in to partner Joel Matip in the centre of defence. Andy Robertson’s suspension means Kostas Tsimikas will play at left-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold on the opposite flank.

Thiago has also recovered from the virus, but he may well be kept on the bench, with Naby Keita starting instead alongside Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

Up front, despite Roberto Firmino now back fit and available, Diogo Jota is likely to be given the nod up front, with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah either side of him.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Leicester:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Henderson, Fabinho, Keita, Salah, Jota, Mane
