Klopp hails stars’ ‘unbelievable’ potential

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is excited by new recruit Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain’s ‘unbelievable’ potential.

The England international joined Liverpool from Arsenal in a £40m deal during the summer, and has been used in a more central role for the Reds, despite being used as a winger for Arsenal.

He produced a near perfect performance in Liverpool’s latest league victory against Bournemouth, as the Reds stormed to victory 4-0.

And Klopp has praised the impact he has had since his arrival in Merseyside.

“He is on a very good way. I like it, but he has so much potential it’s unbelievable, what he still not shows,” Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.

“It’s only just the beginning and I really like it, I really like it. He’s like a wonderful package, I can only say.

“Hopefully he stays fit, that’s the most important thing. He can be much more decisive in a few moments. [He’s sometimes a] little bit too much of a midfielder instead of a striker – there are a lot of things he can improve, but I’m really happy about the status quo.”

It has been a fairly tough start to life for Oxlade-Chamberlain at Liverpool, but he is surely starting to adapt to the team and has the support of his boss.
