Klopp Reveals What Salah Can Learn From Mane In Order To Get Back To His Best

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Mo Salah only has to keep working hard on his game in order to return to top form.

The Egyptian international has not scored in his last seven matches in all competitions and looked anxious in front of goal against Fulham on Sunday.

Klopp believes that Salah should learn from teammate Sadio Mane who worked through his own poor form before returning to his best in recent months:

“The only thing he [Mane] did when he was not always in the right spot was work and work and work. That’s exactly what Mo has to do, exactly the same: just work, do the right things and it will come again.”

“He’s just rather unlucky, where Sadio is lucky in the moment – he is in brilliant shape, that’s true.”

Salah has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this season and is still just one behind the league’s top scorer, Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero with 18.

Mane’s form has certainly alleviated the pressure off Salah with his goalscoring exploits recently, but Klopp and Liverpool fans will be hoping that Salah regains his form soon.

With crucial games against Tottenham, Porto and Chelsea coming up in the next month, the Reds frontline will need to be firing on all cylinders in order to get positive results.
