Konate, Jota, Firmino, Jones And Tsimikas To Start; Thiago And Salah Out: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Everton

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp does tend to ring the changes for home Merseyside derbies and, with Villarreal coming up in the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, it seems he’ll do a similar thing tomorrow.

Alisson will stay in goal, but Kostas Tsimikas could replace Andy Robertson at left-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold keeping his position on the opposite flank.

Ibrahima Konate will likely be rotated with Joel Matip once again and, after missing out for the United game, the Frenchman could return to partner Virgil van Dijk against Everton.

In midfield, Thiago is unlikely to be risked so Curtis Jones could well be given a run-out alongside Jordan Henderson And Naby Keita. Fabinho may, therefore, get a rest as well.

Up front, after not being selected midweek, you would have to think Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino will start at Anfield tomorrow. Luis Diaz would be the likeliest to make way, and it could be a toss-up between Mo Salah and Sadio Mane for who starts. With the Senegalese international in such scintillating form, he may stay in the side.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Everton:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Tsimikas, Jones, Henderson, Keita, Jota, Firmino, Mane
