Latest Liverpool Injury News: Updates On Henderson, Origi And Kelleher

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson remains some way off from returning to training. The 30-year-old underwent surgery after sustaining a groin injury in the Merseyside derby.

It was initially expected that he would be out for six to ten weeks but it seems clear now that he is touch and go to make it back before the end of the season.

Divock Origi and Caoimhin Kelleher were once again absent from the bench for the 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday night, and no timescale has been given on when they will return to action.

Neither player has been pictured back in training with Origi having missed the last three games, while Kelleher has not been seen since being named as a substitute for the first leg of the Champions League last 16 tie against RB Leipzig.

Virgil van Dijk (knee), Joel Matip (ankle) and Joe Gomez (knee) will not play again this campaign, with all expected to return when pre-season begins.
