Latest Liverpool Injury News: Updates On Keita, Tsimikas, Thiago And Five Other Players

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita will be back in the matchday squad for Monday’s game against Crystal Palace.

The Guinean international was absent for the 2-2 draw versus Fulham last weekend due to illness but manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he is available for selection again.

Kostas Tsimikas is also likely to be on the bench for the Palace fixture, with the Greek fullback having returned to training after recovering from a knock.

There is not such good news for Thiago Alcantara, though, with the Spaniard expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks with a thigh problem.

Curtis Jones could be out for another couple of weeks with a calf injury, while Diogo Jota (hamstring) may be on the treatment table for a similar length of time.

Caoimhin Kelleher has still not returned to fitness following a groin strain he sustained playing for the Republic of Ireland in June, while Ibrahima Konate (knee) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (hamstring) are long-term absentees.
