Liverpool forward Sadio Mane will miss tonight’s game against West Ham and is unlikely to feature versus Southampton this weekend due to a minor muscle tear in his thigh.

The Senegalese international sustained the injury in the 2-1 win against Wolves last week. He is expected to continue his recovery during the winter break with the expectation that he will be fit to face Norwich on February 15th.

Xherdan Shaqiri is a major doubt due to a calf injury, while James Milner (thigh) and Nathaniel Clyne (knee) are still out of contention for the match.

Adam Lallana has missed the last two games against Wolves and Shrewsbury due to illness but he could return to the squad when they travel to the London Stadium.
