Latest Liverpool Injury News: Updates On Origi, Firmino, Kelleher And Henderson

Liverpool are likely to have at least three players back from injury after the international break.

Roberto Firmino has not featured since the game against Chelsea but the Brazilian is expected to recover from a knee problem ahead of the Reds’ next match versus Arsenal at the beginning of next month.

Divock Origi (muscular) was sidelined for the game against Wolves and both the Belgian and Caomhin Kelleher are likely to be back in contention for the trip to the Emirates.

The Irish keeper has suffered an abdominal tear but he should be ready to take his place on the bench ahead of Adrian when Jurgen Klopp’s side take on the Gunners.

Captain Jordan Henderson is still a good month away from returning to action. The estimated return date after he suffered the groin injury in the Merseyside derby was ten weeks so he’s expected to make his comeback near the end of April.

Joel Matip (ankle), Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez (both knee) won’t play again this campaign, with all three set to make their returns in preseason.
