Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Firmino And EIGHT Other Players

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is expected to be available for the trip to face Manchester United on Monday night.

The Brazilian missed the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace due to a muscular problem but he appears to be winning his fitness battle to start at Old Trafford.

Thiago (thigh) is likely to be out for a month with a thigh problem, while Diogo Jota is still sidelined with a hamstring injury he aggravated in pre-season.

Curtis Jones (calf) and Caoimhin Kelleher (groin) are not expected to be back in time for the United game, while Joel Matip (groin) is likely to be unavailable for another couple of weeks after pulling up before the Palace fixture.

Ibrahima Konate has a knee issue that could keep him out of action for a while, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sustained a serious hamstring injury last month, which means he won’t be back in training until October at the earliest.

Calvin Ramsay is also absent, having arrived from Aberdeen with an existing problem. Klopp has described it as a “little injury”, although the fullback hasn’t featured in any game for the Reds so far this season.
