Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Henderson, Mane, Keita And Five Other Players

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool captain Jordam Henderson has pulled out of the England squad ahead of tomorrow night’s World Cup qualifier against San Marino.

The 31-year-old is expected to return to Merseyside to have an assessment on an injury, and he is now a doubt for next Saturday’s match against Arsenal.

Sadio Mane (abdomen) was injured in Senegal’s 1-1 draw against Togo earlier this week, but the seriousness of the problem has been played down by his national team manager Aliou Cisse.

Naby Keita picked up a major hamstring issue in the 2-2 draw versus Brighton, and Roberto Firmino suffered a similar injury in the 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid. Neither is expected to face the Gunners.

Joe Gomez (calf) and Curtis Jones (eye) are also said to be touch and go, but they have a better chance of featuring as their injuries are not deemed to be as serious.

James Milner (hamstring) is likely to be missing, along with Harvey Elliott (ankle), who is, though, progressing well in his rehabilitation.
