Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Henderson, Thiago, Jones And Robertson

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is expected to be available when the Reds take on Burnley at Anfield this weekend.

The 31-year-old was left out of the squad for the 3-0 win against Norwich on Saturday due to a lack of match fitness but he could be in contention to start, along with a couple of teammates.

Thiago was also missing for the trip to Carrow Road but, like Henderson, his fitness has improved and he will likely be in line for a recall for the game versus the Clarets.

Curtis Jones was already match fit, but he had to sit out the Norwich match after picking up a concussion in the Reds’ last preseason game against Osasuna. He did, though, play in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Sunday, along with Henderson and Thiago.

The only player who will not be available for the Saturday lunchtime kickoff against Burnley will be Andy Robertson. The left-back has an ankle injury which means he will be sidelined until after the next international break.
