Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Jota, Van Dijk And Fabinho

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota is back in full training and should be in contention to feature against Sheffield United this weekend. The Portuguese international has spent the last two and a half months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Fabinho is still a doubt for Sunday’s game versus the Blades. The Brazilian was targeting a comeback at Bramall Lane but he is yet to take a full part in a training session as he struggles to overcome a muscular problem he sustained after the 4-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Virgil van Dijk is back on the grass at Kirby, having progressed from his gym training to work outside as he steps up his recovery from an ACL injury.

However, there is not such good news for captain Jordan Henderson. The midfielder picked up a groin issue in the Merseyside derby and some reports suggest he could be out for up to three months.

James Milner (hamstring), Joel Matip (ankle) and Joe Gomez (knee) are all on the treatment table and remain unavailable for selection.
