Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Mane, Milner And Shaqiri

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is back in training following a thigh muscle injury. The Senegalese international missed the league games against West Ham and Southampton, as well as the two cup ties versus Shrewsbury, after picking up the issue in the 2-1 win over Wolves last month.

The 27-year-old is right on schedule for his return after manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the player was likely to be back after the winter break. Whether he will be fit enough to start against Norwich on Saturday evening, it remains to be seen.

James Milner (thigh) and Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) were expected to be back in contention at the same time as Mane but with neither player having been pictured in training, it is difficult to predict whether one or both will be available for the trip to Carrow Road.

Shaqiri did not participate in training before the winter break, while Milner has been at Melwood undergoing rehab to get himself back to full fitness after missing the last month of action.

Nathaniel Clyne is still on the comeback trail following an ACL injury sustained in pre-season while youngster Yasser Larouci remains unavailable due to a hamstring problem.
