Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Milner, Robertson And Lovren

Liverpool should have vice-captain James Milner back available for the game against Brighton on Wednesday night.

The 34-year-old has not played since the 0-0 draw against Everton in the Merseyside derby last month due to a hamstring strain, but he looks set to return for the trip to the south coast.

Andy Robertson suffered a dead leg in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa yesterday, and he was replaced by Neco Williams for the closing stages of the match.

However, the Scotland captain should be ready to face the Seagulls, with the left-back saying he was “good to go” following the victory against the Villans.

Dejan Lovren is, though, not expected to return to the squad for the game midweek, with the Croatian still suffering from a knock he picked up before the loss to Manchester City.

Joel Matip is out for the season with a toe injury, which means manager Jurgen Klopp has been left with just two fit centre-backs in Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk.
