Latest Liverpool Injury Report: Updates On Robertson, Jones And Six Other Players

Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson will be sidelined with a suspected knee injury until after the next international break.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the defender picked up the problem in the final few minutes of the 4-1 defeat to Napoli last week.

Curtis Jones is unavailable after a recurrence of a leg injury that has been troubling him since preseason, while Calvin Ramsay remains on the treatment table with a back problem.

Naby Keita is not expected to return to action before mid-October with a muscular issue and Ibrahima Konate is still recovering from a knee injury.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and captain Jordan Henderson have hamstring problems and, like Robertson, won’t be back before the international fixtures later this month.

The closest to being fit is believed to be Caoimhin Kelleher, with the Irish goalkeeper nearing a return from a groin issue that he sustained all the way back in June. He could be back on the bench for the Chelsea game if the fixture goes ahead this weekend.
