Leeds United Vs Liverpool: Match Preview And Injury News

Liverpool are set to take on Leeds United away from home in their next Premier League game, as Jurgen Klopp’s men continue their hunt for European qualification.

Liverpool are expected to be without Calvin Ramsay, Naby Keita and Stefan Bajcetic for their game against the Whites. On top of this, Ibrahima Konate and Alisson Becker are both doubts, but the pair are expected to pass their respective fitness tests.

In their last game, Liverpool picked up a 2-2 draw after an all-time Premier League classic against league leaders Arsenal. In the first half, the Scousers fell 2-0 behind after Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus fired home – but the Gunners failed to put the game to bed and Liverpool made them pay for it. They battled back, with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino both scoring to give the Reds a hard-fought point.

Meanwhile, Leeds were thrashed at home in their last Premier League game by Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace. It was a fantastic display by the Eagles – Leeds could do little to contain them, as Palace opened up their defence time and time again. In the end, the game ended 5-1, with Patrick Bamford scoring Leeds’ only goal of the game.

The last time the two teams played each other, all the way back in October, Leeds left Anfield with an unexpected victory as they defeated the Reds by a score of 2-1. The contest was level at 1-1 for much of its duration, before Crysencio Summerville popped up in the 89th minute to give the West Yorkshire club a shock win.
