‘Let Him Rest’ ‘No Point Risking Him’ Fans Respond As James Pearce Claims Liverpool Star Has 50/50 Chance Of Facing Arsenal

Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has a “50/50” chance of being involved against Arsenal this weekend, according to The Athletic‘s James Pearce.

The journalist reports that the 27-year-old did not suffer a hamstring strain during Scotland’s 2-0 win over Denmark on Monday night, but there is some “tightness”:

With Kostas Tsimikas in form and waiting in the wings to replace Robertson, fans on Twitter are hoping that manager Jurgen Klopp doesn’t gamble with the fullback’s fitness:

This should be a very easy decision for Klopp. It may be a big game versus Arsenal on Saturday but Tsimikas is very capable of filling in for the match.

The Greek international has arguably performed at a higher level than Robertson this campaign and he should be entrusted with a starting role.

Klopp may have other ideas, though. He is fiercely loyal, some may argue to a fault, when it comes to his first-team players so don’t be shocked if Robertson is named on the teamsheet.
