Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu’s former agent has revealed that Liverpool would be the only other team in the Premier League the Turkish international would join.
Mustafa Dogru says the Reds, along with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, would be the only three options if the centre-back decided to leave the Foxes:
“It is possible that Barcelona could sign Caglar this summer, as they wanted to sign him before he moved from Altinordu to Freiburg. We negotiated with them back then, and they presented an interesting project”
“But we wanted a situation which guaranteed first-team football for Caglar, which is why we chose Freiburg. Liverpool are the only Premier League side that could sign him, but PSG could also be an option.”
The comments sparked a debate among fans on Twitter over whether Soyuncu would be a good purchase for Liverpool:
Soyüncü's not coming to sit on the bench.

Soyuncu is only 23 years of age, and it could be argued that rather than being a candidate to partner Virgil van Dijk, he’d be someone the Reds may consider as a replacement for the Dutchman.
Van Dijk turns 29 in July, and if the Liverpool defender does show some signs of slowing down in three or four years time, Soyuncu may well be a name to consider.
However, by then, there is no guarantee he will still be at the Foxes with a number of clubs likely to be keen on signing him.
