Gary Lineker believes it could well turn into a “two-horse race” for the Premier League title between Liverpool and Manchester City, if Chelsea can’t turn around their recent poor form.
The Reds are three points ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s side heading into this afternoon’s games and Lineker says that there is a risk of the Blues being left behind if they don’t arrest their slide:
The 3 horse race is in danger of becoming a 2 horse race.

It’s probably too early to be writing off Chelsea’s chances just yet. At the time of writing, all three title rivals are scheduled to play today, with Chelsea facing a tough trip to Molineux. Wolves have only suffered narrow defeats to the other two title contenders recently.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have a difficult fixture of their own when they come against Tottenham, but City, on the other hand, take on Newcastle, and out of the three, you would back the Citizens as the likeliest to record maximum points. Things could, therefore, look a lot different by 7 pm this evening.
