Liverpool forward Mo Salah has been nominated for the official Premier League Player of the Month award.

The 29-year-old scored three goals in three appearances during the month of September, as he helped the Reds to wins over Leeds and Crystal Palace, as well as the 3-3 draw against Brentford last weekend.

Salah has been in scintillating form this campaign, with many fans and pundits believing he is playing the best football since his first season at the Merseyside club.

In terms of who the Egyptian will be going up against for the Player of the Month prize, Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximin, Watford’s Ismaila Sarr and Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo have also been nominated.
