Liverpool Ace’s Former Agent Reveals Real Madrid’s Interest Goes Back 3 Years As He Backs Star To Make Switch

The former agent of Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has recommended that his ex-client leave the Reds and join Real Madrid.

Thierno Seydi says he is aware that the La Liga giants have been tracking the Senegalese international for three years and this would be the right time to make the move to the Bernabeu:

“Staying in Liverpool is not a bad thing, but a player needs a challenge. What else does he want to win if he stays in Liverpool?. He won everything with Liverpool. At some point, you have to know when is the right time to say goodbye.”

“Personally, I know that Real Madrid have been interested in Sadio Mane for three years. You are joining a galactic club. You are becoming even better known. Madrid is one of the most famous clubs in the world.”

Reports in Spain have repeatedly stated that Real boss Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of Mane, but with president Florentino Perez having confirmed that the Spanish club have no money to spend on marquee signings, it’s highly unlikely that they’ll bid for the Liverpool star this summer.

In the past, Mane has refused to rule out a move to Real, but he is clearly happy at Anfield, with the 28-year-old currently in the form of his life after a stellar season in which he scored some vital goals to help the Reds lift the Premier League title.
