Liverpool And Arsenal Tipped To Challenge PSG For Brazilian Ace Who Is Being Eyed As Mbappe’s Replacement

Liverpool and Arsenal have joined Paris Saint-Germain in the race for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jnr, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The Brazilian international has fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu and it is believed that he could be offloaded at the end of the season.

PSG’s sporting director Leonardo is thought to be a big fan of Vinicius and it is said that the Ligue One champions could well be considering the 20-year-old as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

Liverpool and PSG were reportedly the two clubs who registered their interest with the Brazilian’s agent back in the summer and it seems that both teams remain keen on snapping up the player.

Whether Vinicius is good enough to play for the Reds, though, it is open for debate. The forward is lightning quick but his end product is pretty woeful, having scored just three goals and provided three assists in 23 appearances this season.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has, though, made a habit of turning rough gems into diamonds during his managerial career and he may see something in Vinicius which others do not.
