Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez “prefers” to make a move to the Premier League this summer, according to Spanish radio programme El Larguero.
It has been reported that the 26-year-old could be used in a swap deal with Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann but the Atletico star’s interest in making the switch to England is said to be a major issue:

Liverpool and Chelsea are believed to be the two Premier League teams who are the most interested in Niguez, although both have been waiting to see whether the Spanish international agrees a move to Barca.
This latest development will be a big boost to the Reds’ chances of signing the midfielder but it must be said that this report from El Larguero does contradict claims made by some trusted journalists.
Other sources have suggested that Niguez is very interested in signing for Barcelona so we shall see who turns out to be right on this one.
