Liverpool And Tottenham Reportedly Both Keeping Tabs On Lazio Wide Man

Liverpool are one of three teams scouting Lazio winger Adam Marusic, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website reports that the Reds have been keeping an eye on the Montenegrin international since the summer, but they have competition from Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund.

After joining Lazio from KV Oostende in the summer of 2017, Marusic quickly established himself in the Serie A side’s first team.

Mostly playing on the right-hand side of midfield, the 26-year-old made 39 appearances in all competitions last campaign, scoring three goals and contributing nine assists.

This term, Marusic has not had the same impact. He has failed to score or create a goal in the league so far this season and was benched for Lazio’s 2-0 win over Parma last weekend.

He likes to dribble with the ball and has a good final pass, but his statistics don’t really show a player who would be up to the standards of playing for the Reds.
