Liverpool and Manchester United are both interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko, according to reports in the German media.

The 17-year-old has been included in Germany’s squad for the World Cup but he has still not signed a professional contract with Dortmund. It is believed a dispute over agents has led to talks stalling over a new deal.

Moukoko may be on the market for around £25m next summer and the teenager could well be worth the outlay considering the talent that he possesses.

The forward became the youngest player to make his Bundesliga debut back in 2020 and he has made 58 appearances for Dortmund in total.

Moukoko has been particularly impressive at the start of this season, racking up six goals and four assists in just 13 league games, and that form has led to Germany manager Hansi Flick deciding to take him on the flight out to Qatar.
