Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton are all keeping tabs on Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin, according to reports in the English media.
The Frenchman has been in excellent form this season but it is believed that he could be available for only £30m next summer.
Saint-Maximin has had his injury problems since moving to the Magpies from Nice in 2019, but he remains a potent attacking threat, blessed with a lot of pace and superb ball control.
Liverpool are believed to be on the lookout for another forward and Saint-Maximin’s recent performances would not have gone unnoticed.
However, his style of play wouldn’t necessarily match what manager Jurgen Klopp is looking for. He is a very powerful runner on the ball, and he can turn a game on its head by himself, but his work out of possession leaves a lot to be desired, and that may lead to the Merseyside club moving on to other targets.
