Liverpool, Arsenal And United Told They Will Have To Pay 50M If They Want To Land England Star This Summer

Brighton won’t sell Ben White for less than £50m this summer, according to reports in England. Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all said to be tracking the 23-year-old but the Seagulls’ asking price may put off clubs from bidding.

The defender has recently been called up to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold in England’s 26-man squad for the European Championships and he has had a pretty decent first season playing at the top level.

Despite struggling at the wrong end of the table, Brighton only conceded 46 goals in 38 games, which was fewer than twelve other teams in the top flight last campaign.

Whether Liverpool would be interested in signing White after shelling out £36m on RB Leipzig’s Ibrahima Konate, though, it seems unlikely. The Reds currently have a large number of centre-backs on their books but the England international is undoubtedly someone they will continue to keep a close eye on.
