Liverpool Eye Potential Salah Successor As They Are Listed Among The ‘Interested Teams’ Pursuing 67M Spanish Ace

Liverpool are one of the “interested teams” considering a move for Villarreal winger Yeremy Pino, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish website claims Manchester City are also keen on the Spanish international, while Chelsea and Arsenal may get involved in the race for the player’s signature as well.

Pino only signed a new contract with Villarreal back in February, and his release clause is believed to have been set at around €80m (£67m).

The 19-year-old generally plays as a right-winger so he is probably being looked at as a potential long-term successor to Mo Salah, who will be 33 when his new contract expires.

It should be noted, though, that Pino is right-footed and the Reds would probably prefer someone who is similar to Salah in terms of preferring their left side.

Of course, there is no real urgency to find a replacement for Salah, considering his decision to extend his stay at Anfield, but they are likely to be keeping an eye on Pino’s progress.
