Liverpool fans are excited to see £67 million signing Alisson in action for the first time tonight as Jurgen Klopp’s men take on Napoli.
The Reds on take the Serie A giants this evening in Dublin in their final game of pre-season, where the fans will get the chance to see their new number one make his debut for the club.
Alisson completed his world record move to Anfield from AS Roma last month, however has yet to appear in Red after an extended holiday following his World Cup campaign with Brazil in which they crashed out at the quarter-final stage.
The Brazilian began training with his new team-mates last week, and manager Jurgen Klopp has now confirmed he will make his debut for the Reds against Napoli.
Klopp told Liverpool’s website: “It’s pretty likely (he’ll make his debut). We should not waste time.
“Then it’ll be nearly a week, or six days in training, since he (started) and yes, he will play.”
The Kopites cannot wait to see their new man in action …
