Liverpool Find Out Their Opponents As The Champions League Last 16 Draw Is Made (Again)

Liverpool have been drawn against Inter Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Reds were previously due to play Red Bull Salzburg but an error in how the balls were selected for the pots meant that the entire draw had to be redone this afternoon.

While Inter is a slightly harder tie than Salzburg, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would still have been glad to miss out on potential opponents such as Paris Saint-Germain and Europa League winners Villarreal.

The first leg of the last 16 game clash will take place in Italy on one of four dates in February, with the second leg being held at Anfield in early to mid March.

In terms of the other English teams, Manchester City have been drawn against Sporting Lisbon (after previously getting Villarreal), Chelsea will play Lille while Manchester United, who were due to face PSG, will now take on Atletico Madrid.
