Liverpool Have ‘Expressed An Interest’ In Brazilian Starlet But Face Battle With Four Other Teams

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool have “expressed an interest” in buying Vasco da Gama forward Talles Magno, according to Bolavip.com. The Brazilian news outlet claims that the Reds have joined the likes of Benfica, Lazio, Roma and Juventus in the battle to sign the teenager.

It is believed Vasco da Gama are willing to discuss bids for the 17-year-old, with the Brazilian club said to be already considering a proposal from Benfica.

The Portuguese side have reportedly proposed a €1m offer which would give them first option on Magno until the end of 2020.

Interest in the Brazilian has been growing following his recent performances at international level. He scored two goals in four appearances in the Under 17 World Cup last year.

However, a hamstring injury prevented Magno from participating during most of the knockout stages and he was sidelined as Brazil won against Mexico in the final.

For Vasco da Gama, he has so far played 17 games at senior level, having last featured in the Copa Sudamericano back in February.
