Liverpool Have ‘Made Contact’ With PSG Star’s Agent And Mother About Possible Free Transfer

Liverpool have “made contact” with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot’s mother and agent about a possible move to Anfield, according to ESPN.

The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season and will be free to speak to other clubs in January.

Rabiot is a regular first-team player at PSG, having started all five games for the French side so far this campaign, but he has been involved in a long-running contract dispute with his club.

The 23-year-old reportedly rejected a new deal last month, deeming the new terms that had been offered as unsatisfactory. Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the midfielder but the Reds may have an edge.

Rabiot has publicly stated in the past that he supported the Merseyside club when he was young and that he is keen to play in the Premier League one day.

The France international came through the youth system at PSG and has played over 200 games for the Ligue One side.
