Liverpool Have Scouts In Attendance As They Watch 17.5M Rated Norwegian Star Who’s Been Compared To Haaland

Liverpool had scouts watching on as FC Nordsjaelland took on FC Midtjylland last week, according to reports in the Danish media.

It is likely that the Reds were keeping an eye on Nordsjaelland striker Andreas Schjelderup, who had been linked with the Merseyside club last month.

The 18-year-old has caught the attention of a number of teams, including Arsenal, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Inter Milan, with many comparing him to his fellow countryman Erling Haaland.

However, Nordsjaelland are not expected to sell Schjelderup on the cheap, with it being claimed that the Danish Superliga side may demand as much as €20m (£17.5m) for the teenager.

The Norwegian Under 21 international has certainly been in impressive form, having already scored 10 goals in 17 league appearances this season. He has been deployed both as a number nine and on the left flank, but he has looked comfortable playing in either position. We shall see if Liverpool or another club make a move for the forward in January.
