Liverpool midfielder Alexis MacAllister has been cleared to play in the Reds’ next match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. 

The midfielder picked up a knock whilst on international duty but will be available as Liverpool look to make it four wins in his first four as manager at Anfield.

They face Nottingham Forest, who have five points from their opening three games, at Anfield kicking off at 3 pm on Saturday 14 September.

There were doubts over whether MacAllister plays, but he is fit and ready which means that Arne Slot can play an unchanged midfield should he decide against Forest.
