Liverpool Injury News And Return Dates: Updates On Alisson, Wataru Endo And 2 Others

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker says he is hoping to be back “by the end of April”.

The Brazilian international picked up a muscular injury before the 2-1 defeat to Brighton last month.

He has also missed the 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup and the 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.

Based on Alisson’s own estimate, he could be sidelined for 4 more matches, the league fixture against Fulham, the second leg versus PSG next week, as well as the Merseyside derby and the home match against Crystal Palace.

Expected Return Date – Sunday 3rd May vs Manchester United (a)

Wataru Endo

The midfielder had surgery on his ankle at the end of February. He sustained the injury during the 1-0 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Endo is hoping to be back in time to play for Japan at the World Cup, with the inference being that his domestic season is over.

Expected Return Date – June
